WordPress is by far the most popular and user-friendly CMS on the market. I always recommend it to clients who need a content management system, most of all if they intend to blog. Thanks to its popularity and its strong community, WordPress is constantly improving and is incredibly well documented and supported.
I also use WordPress as a basis for developing more complex applications such as eCommerce or events websites. I am also more than happy to come up with new plugins would your client’s website require functionalities that are not implemented in WordPress yet.
